Terms of Service & Refund Policy
These terms govern your use of Hey M.A.R.Y ("Mary", "we", "the Service"), a Chrome extension that drafts emails from your saved templates and contacts. By using the Service or subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these terms.
1. Plans & billing
- Free — a monthly allowance of tokens that refreshes each month. No payment required.
- Plus — starts with a 7-day free trial, then $4.99 / month, auto-renewing monthly until you cancel. Billed through Gumroad, our Merchant of Record, which handles payment and applicable taxes (VAT, etc.).
2. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime. When you cancel, you keep Plus until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to Free. You will not be charged again after cancelling.
3. Free trial & refunds
- 7-day free trial. Every Plus subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. Cancel any time before it ends and you will never be charged.
- No refunds after billing. Because we provide a free trial to evaluate the service, payments made after the trial are non-refundable — including unused or partial periods — except where a refund is required by applicable law.
- Cancel anytime. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Plus until the end of the paid period, then your account returns to Free.
- Erroneous charges. We will of course correct a clearly duplicate or mistaken charge — just contact contact@praevi.io.
By starting the subscription you agree that, after the free trial, billed amounts are non-refundable. This does not limit any non-waivable statutory consumer rights you may have under your local law.
4. Acceptable use
Use the Service for lawful email only. Don't use it to send spam, harassment, malware, or unlawful content, or to violate any mail provider's terms. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
5. Service & changes
The Service is provided "as is". We may update features, models, limits, or pricing; material changes will be announced in advance. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
6. Disclaimer
Mary helps you draft emails, but you are responsible for reviewing and sending them. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for content you send or for indirect or incidental damages.
